With out of control curls, a smattering of freckles, and glasses hiding her dark eyes, Chrissy Masterson has always been the ugly duckling. She never thought she was pretty enough to garner the attention of her crush, Trent McAvoy. With countless nights spent dreaming of just one kiss from the tall, enticing quarterback, she's devastated when he leaves abruptly, their chance at love vanishing as quickly as the crowd after a football game.
Six years after leaving, Trent returns to his hometown hoping to find the girl that once stole his heart way back when, her wavy dark hair and gorgeous smile haunting him for all the years since they've been apart. He catches a glimpse of his curvy beauty one afternoon in the midst of her dance routine and is stunned to find that she's even more gorgeous than he remembered--she's blossomed into a devastating beauty in his absence. From the moment their eyes lock, he's smitten all over again. He'll do anything to get Chrissy in his arms and under his body, making up for all the lost time between them and taking chances he didn't have the courage to take last time.
Warning Swan is an 11,000 word fairytale short story. It's all about syrupy sweet second chances at first love, and stolen kisses in the moonlight with a swoonworthy hero and the woman he never could quite forget. Enjoy!

To be fair, its not a bad read, and I'm good with insta stories, but I guess I was in wrong mood to read it or it just wasn't for me. I was annoyed with Chrissy. For someone, who dreamed about forever relationship, like her parents, she so quickly spread her legs for a guy she just meet and who spew some sexy and sweet compliments to her. So what if it was someone she knew years ago and had a crush on him. She had no clue what kind of a guy Trent was at the present. It's probably my suspicious nature not happy with her actions. Lol. And also I think I had a problem for her reacting to him and his words that way because how she saw herself. Ugly duckling. She saw herself like that, so his words I think should have sounded as a lie to her or at least she should have some doubts. But she just absorbed Trents sweetness like a thirsty sponge. And maybe I would have felt differently if there was more backround built around characters. But then again, it was short story for that.Product details

Swan Modern Fairytales edition by Aria Cole Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Really enjoyed this book. It was safe and sweet. These 2 were adorable...no beating around the bush and wasting time, met up again after 6 years and were each others first....so sweet *swoon*. Sweet book.
Such a wonderful and safe love story.
You know the saying, "Good things come to those who wait."
This is exactly that story.
Another great Aria Cole love story!!
Definite 5 star read!!
Short and sweet story of two virgins! My only complaint is that I wish it would have been longer! This is my first read by this author and it definitely won't be my last! Off to one-clicking her other books I go!
I loved swan!! It was so great. I loved how Chrissy and Trent saved there selves for each other. I've never read a romance where the hero was a virgin. I like it and I think it gives a better dynamic to the story. Another one for aria Cole!!
Swan was a short fun read. Lots of love and best of all vcards all around. I wish it where a little longer just because I enjoyed the story so much. The characters where cute and they only have eyes for eachother. I love obsessed H and Trent fit the bill. Great story!
Swan is such a sexy, sweet second chance romance. A virgin hero and heroine both looking for the perfect person, but unable to move past their high school crush.
Loved this one, lots of romance and dirty talking -- yum! And a happily ever after too!
Four stars and four wet panties.
This is a very short, extremely sweet read. There's no drama, no angst, just a lot of love and sex.
I liked Trent, he was sweet, kind and genuine.
Chrissy is like a mouse, quiet, sweet and quite insecure.
From the moment they saw each other (again), it was instalove. Head over heels for each other.
Very enjoyable read.
